Known as Full Figure, the motormouthed socialite Nakagubi Jenipher is on the verge of losing her job at Salt Television.
As long as we’ve known Full Figure, vulgarity has been her trademark.
Known media figure Charles James Ssenkubuge invited Full Figure to co-host the Salt Television morning show Omusunsuzi on March 13, 2023.
Her language, however, caused her to lose her job again. The Salt TV morning show, which airs Monday through Friday, will no longer feature her.
Charles Sekubuge and Robert Mutebi are the current hosts of the program, rebranded #ZibulaAtude.
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), the media watchdog, advised her not to continue hosting the show after viewers complained about foul language.
In order to serve the public well, the program name has been changed, the offensive host has been terminated, and journalism ethics have been upheld.
Salt Television now offers morning broadcasts, advertising, and participation opportunities. Uganda Communications Commission is greatly appreciated. Gabriel Buule, a Daily Monitor journalist, says “The pen will always be powerful.”
