Paulo Bento, the manager of South Korea, was dismissed for his vehement protestations directed at referee Anthony Taylor after his team’s painful 3-2 World Cup loss to Ghana.
Bento became enraged with Taylor as the English referee called full-time before his team could take a corner, preventing them from having an opportunity to tie the score in a dramatic Group H match.
Even after being told to leave Taylor, the Portuguese boss seemed to come back.
Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus scored goals at the Education City Stadium to give Ghana a commanding lead at the half.

The game appeared to be heading South Korea’s way as Cho Gue-sung scored twice, but with 22 minutes left in the regular 90, Ajax midfielder Kudus scored the game-winning goal.
After ten minutes of stoppage time, South Korea had a corner, but Taylor whistled before they could take it, starting Bento’s protests.
